*MUST HAVE*
Degree in Food Science/ Technology
-Minimum 7 years in food manufacturing industry preferably with experience in bakery
-Well verse in ISO 22000, ISO 9001 and HACCP systems

*RESPONSIBILITIES*
Comply with requirements of the documented quality management system that meets the ISO 9001 standard and ISO 22000 standard
-Oversee & manage Quality Assurance (QA) department of the plant
-Monitor and control the utilization of manpower of QA department in terms of staff deployment and overtime
-To review and implement changes to QA department activities where necessary so as to meet the requirements of the Quality Management System
-To assess in ensuring the in-process quality control system is effective in monitoring the production process by respective QA executives so that final quality of the products meets the expectation
-Develop GMP audit for production process and equipment warehouse, sales, workshop, canteen & guardhouse, factory compound, sanitation and cleaning
-Assist & advice Production Department in troubleshooting for the improvement of product quality
-Oversea & ensure the standardization of Production and Quality Assurance Systems
-Work with Production Department and Engineering Department in the development and implementation of cleaning and operation programs for production equipment and other factory areas
-Liaise with R&D Department on the implementation of improved formulas and new product launches
-Liaise with Purchasing Department on all matters pertaining to the quality of the existing raw materials and packaging materials or newly introduced raw materials and packaging materials
-Liaise with Marketing and Sales Departments on consumer complaints and carry out the necessary checks to prevent recurrence
-Develop audit programs for suppliers and lead performance audit for existing suppliers and participate in new supplier evaluation through the site audit, reviewing raw material specification & evaluate the raw material quality
-Continuously reviewing the applicable Malaysian & worldwide standard to improve our existing system for raw material and production operation for all plants
-Assist inn investigation & corrective action implementation for non-conformance raised by regulatory bodies (SIRIM, MOH) and potential customer on food safety and quality related matters for all plants
-Monitor performance of QA Executives in establishing the application procedures for existing and newly introduced sanitation or clearing agent
-Monitor performance of QA Executives in standardizing and reviewing the chemical control procedure and upgrade the chemical application to ensure the cleaning effectiveness
-Monitor performance of QA Executives in ensuring the specification of all raw materials are carried out effectively
-Monitor performance of QA Executives in establishing the control and testing procedures for newly launched products
-Monitor performance of QA Executives in the monitoring of the quality of the finished products and verifying the quality of the raw materials
-Monitor performance of QA Executives in complying all work instructions established by QA Department
