From a friend...
Aku balik rumah.
Penat kerja seharian.
Anak lelaki berikan aku sekeping kertas.🧐
English - 20/100
Bahasa Melayu - 45/100
Matematik - 30/100
Agama Islam - 55/100
Sejarah - 43/100
Geografi - 28/100
Sains - 35/100
"Apasal teruk sangat result ni?
Asyik main handphone, Facebook, Instagram. Inilah jadinya,” aku terus melenting. 😤
Isteriku seperti biasa cuba sabarkan, “Cuba tanya anak kita elok-elok. Usah cepat marah.”
“Itulah awak, manjakan sangat anak kita. Seburuk-buruk anak-anak kita sebelum ini, tak ada lagi yang dapat keputusan teruk macam ni!” marah aku lagi.
“Abah ...,” kata anakku perlahan. Anakku nampak takut.
Kesian pula aku lihat muka dia.
“Itu sebenarnya kertas keputusan peperiksaan abah sewaktu abah di tingkatan satu dulu. Saya jumpa dalam almari lama kita,” kata dia.😆
Ironical as sometimes we keep on driving our children and our staff to achieve a complete perfection. As if everything that they do are far from our expectations. Should they have accessed to our past life, most probably we were equal. 🤭
Have we reflected that perhaps what they need is the trust and believe more than that we need to keep coaching remind them to be better. Driving and leading change is not easy, but it must comes with ✊ respect...
