Loved it so much when the children learn to recite the Iqra' through the muqaddam way... my simple reason is definitely in order for them to know the name of the Arabic alphabet... not just by knowing how it will 'sound like'... then, not only will they learn the art of mengaji but will also get to know the alphabet personally...
